Sky Diving LessonsWith some of the most modern and complete training programs available, we want to help you enjoy the exhilaration of a jump as safely as possible. Each sky diving lesson is taught by an experienced staff of instructors, with the highest credentials, that will provide as much information as possible and answer any questions you might have regarding your sky diving lesson. Between the classroom and the twin-engine airplane, you'll be suited with state-of-the-art equipment and receive highly detailed instructions to make your jump exciting and safe at the same time. Choosing a sky diving lesson at our facility in Perris Valley means you'll be able to choose from the following: Tandem Training Tandem skydiving means jumping physically attached to an instructor by a harness. After only 30 minutes of instruction, you'll be able to feel the thrill of freefall with the comfort of an experience diver. You'll exit the aircraft in tandem at 13,000 feet, freefall for nearly a minute, and then slowly descend to earth under a canopy built for 2. After 5 minutes of carving turns through the sky and enjoying breathtaking views, you'll come to soft landing. Accelerated Freefall (AFF) Accelerated Freefall (AFF 1) – Experience the thrill of skydiving with 2 instructors by your side, instead of in tandem. Your first AFF skydiving lesson will include 4-6 hours of ground school. Training will include all the necessary elements to make a skydive wearing your own parachute! Once at the appropriate altitude of 13,000 feet, you'll exit the plane with 2 instructors for 50 seconds of free fall. Once your parachute is deployed, you'll control your own canopy all the way to the ground! To assist you with judging your landings, for your first few AFF jumps we provide you with radios for one way communication with your instructor. Accelerated Freefall (AFF 2-8) – You'll take a refresher course on each level before you make your skydive, usually about 30 minutes reviewing what you learned in ground school and an additional task towards your progression. During AFF Levels 2 & 3 you will have 2 instructors, just like level 1. Before Level 4, you will fly in our flight simulator. Perris is one of only a few schools around the world that utilizes a wind tunnel as a part of their AFF training progression. Afterwards, you'll be ready for Levels 4-8, to take to the air with one instructor alongside you in freefall. Learn more about the reduced pricing for the rest of your training here. After successfully completing 8 AFF levels you'll graduate and earn your United States Parachute Association AFF certification! Advanced Training Once graduated from AFF (in as little as 8 jumps), you can participate in Advanced Training, or relative work, to earn your "A" license (only 25 jumps) or simply improve your performance with fellow skydivers. If you'd prefer to practice or simply stay closer to earth, indoor skydiving is the perfect alternative. Our 95-foot vertical wind tunnel is our premier attraction (one of only a few offered by schools around the world), great for all ages and skill levels, including experienced divers looking to improve their skills. This technologically advanced chamber allows divers to float on a powerful column of air for fun or practice for short intervals. It's easy, fun, and most of all it's a safe. Most riders catch on in just a few minutes and an experienced Perris Valley Skydiving staff member will provide you with an indoor sky diving lesson, including proper techniques and necessary precautions. You can feel the exhilaration of freefalling and log some serious practice without even climbing into an airplane! Book tunnel time by clicking here.
