Skydiving in Los Angeles

There's something for everyone interested in Los Angeles skydiving at the Perris Valley. Our facility is one of the most popular drop zones in the world. In fact a number of records have been set in the skies above, including the use of the only jet certified specifically for skydiving! California's only resort skydiving center, we're renowned for our amenities, exciting jump packages, and the only indoor skydiving wind tunnel on the Western seaboard.

As our guest for skydiving in Los Angeles, you'll enjoy our Bombshelter Sports Bar & Grill, swimming pool, and grassy picnic areas. You'll also be able to choose from the following:

Tandem Training – Tandem skydiving means jumping physically attached to an instructor by a harness. After only a half hour of instruction, you'll be able to feel the thrill of freefall with the comfort of an experience diver. You'll freefall for nearly a minute and then slowly descend under a canopy built for 2.

Accelerated Freefall (AFF 1) – Experience the thrill of skydiving with 2 instructors by your side, instead of in tandem. Your first AFF lesson will include 4-6 hours of ground school. Training will include all the necessary elements to make a skydive wearing your own parachute! Once at the appropriate altitude of 13,000 feet, you'll enjoy skydiving in Los Angeles once you exit the plane with 2 instructors for 50 seconds of free fall. Once your parachute is deployed, you control your own canopy all the way to the ground! To assist you with judging your landings, for your first few AFF jumps we provide you with radios for one way communication from your instructors.

Accelerated Freefall (AFF 2-8) – You'll go through a refresher of each level prior to your skydive, including approximately 30 minutes of reviewing what you learned in ground school and an additional task towards your AFF progression. During AFF Levels 2 & 3 you will have 2 instructors, just like Level 1. Before making your Level 4 skydive, you will fly in our flight simulator. Perris is one of only a few schools around the world that utilizes a wind tunnel as a part of their AFF training progression. You are now ready for Levels 4-8 and will take to the air with one instructor alongside you in freefall. Learn how affordable each level and the rest of your training are here.

After successfully completing 8 AFF levels, you'll graduate and earn your United States Parachute Association AFF Certification!

Advanced Training – Once graduated from AFF (as few as 8 jumps), you can participate in Advanced Training, to earn your "A" license which requires 25 jumps and then you can jump with other skydivers.

For many first-time divers, we offer photo and video services to record the once-in-a-lifetime experience. Click here to learn more.

If 13,000 feet of altitude isn't for you, our vertical wind tunnel, one of only a few that schools around the world offer, is the perfect alternative. Standing at 96 feet tall, our skydiving simulator is great for all ages and skill levels. This flight simulator is so close to actual freefall experienced skydivers use it now as a training tool to improve their skills. The technologically advanced chamber, a multimillion dollar design, allows skydivers to fly on a powerful column of air that is manually controlled for a safe and fun experience. It's just another option of flying your body at Los Angeles skydiving. Most flyers catch on in just a few minutes and an experienced Perris Valley Skydiving staff member is always in the flight chamber for your safety and to teach you, with hand signals, proper flying techniques. You can feel the exhilaration of freefalling and get in some serious practice without even climbing into an airplane! Interested in sky diving in Los Angeles without climbing to 13,000 feet?
