Course Description:

Come join Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld, Kate Cooper-Jensen, Tony Domenico, Larry Henderson, Doug Forth and Tom Jenkins as they lead you through a four-day camp structured to enhance and improve your big way skills. You will learn and apply the techniques of diving, floating and base work in this 4-day 18-jump camp.

You will receive training on exit techniques from both right and left trail aircraft, tracking tips, canopy control in large groups, and just about anything else you might have questions on when it comes to 100+ way formations. The proven model the P3 organizers use allows smaller formations, 20 - 40 ways, to duplicate all the jobs, visuals, and responsibilities of a 100+ way formation. This is a "no fault" approach to teaching where you are encouraged to push your limits while learning.

Any person aspiring to hold a world record in large formation skydiving, who would like to be on their first 100-way, or who already has experienced the above but wants to brush up on their skills should attend this camp. Quite a few camp participants are repeat attendees --even current World Record Holders attend-- as they find new ways to challenge themselves and learn each time they join the camp.

Your leaders include Dan Brodsky-Chenfeld, Manager of Skydive Perris, founder of Airspeed, multiple gold medal winner in four and eight way at the World level and organizer of the GO FAST 300-way World Record. Joining Dan are Kate Cooper-Jensen and Tony Domenico, both of whom have been involved with most World Record large formation skydives. This includes organizing the last three Jump for the Cause Women's World Records, including the upcoming JFTC 2009, and the current 400-way World Record WT '06. Larry Henderson, a WT '02, 04 and '06 captain, TSR captain, and a familiar face from ESA boogies and many other events worldwide, joins the team once again. Also returning are World Team member, veteran competitor, and formation skydiving coach Doug Forth, and Tom Jenkins, World Team member, TSR and large formation organizer. References from past attendees are available upon request.

OPTIONAL TUNNEL TIME:  Christy Frikken of Perris Fury is coordinating an optional tunnel block the day before the event. Please contact Christy directly at frikkenc@yahoo.com if you are interested in discounted and coached tunnel time. This 10 minute block of coached tunnel time will reinforce many skills that will be emphasized during the camp. Tunnel time will also be available in the evenings of the camp by prior reservation, either coached or not.

100-WAY CAMP MAY 7-10:  P3 will be hosting a 100-Way Camp the following weekend, May 7-10. Big Way Camp attendees are welcome to apply for this event, but invitations may be granted on a “conditional” basis, subject to observed performance during the Big Way Camp.  To apply for the 100-Way Camp, click on the link.

QUESTIONS? Please address questions regarding registration and payment to Jen McGowan jen@square1.com. Questions about the event and your participation in it can be addressed to either Larry Henderson hendersonl@acu.edu or Kate Cooper-Jensen katejumps@square1.com. Note that Larry and Kate cannot confirm receipt of your payment or answer money questions.
