Team for a day with Christy Frikken (Introductory level)
Christy Frikken is organizing those interested in doing a team for the day (or weekend) February 4th and 5th. This is aimed at those who would like to experience the advantages of jumping with the same group for a whole day as well as with a coach. This will be taught in a 4-way format for those who are interested in learning about this aspect of the sport, but the skills are very applicable to any type of formation skydiving you prefer.
Contact Christy at frikkenc@yahoo.com for more information and to reserve a slot.

Top Placing AMATEUR member - Registration paid for USPA Nationals.
The California regional events are the combination of Southern California’s ISM Canopy Piloting Series with the Northern California Canopy Pilots Associations Canopy Piloting events. The groups have come together and united under one league to follow the lead of the FLCPA. We are an energized and dedicated group of organizers looking to expand the discipline of Canopy Piloting in a unified competitive manner.
The goal of our regional events is to provide a competitive platform for both the experienced high performance canopy pilot and qualified “newbie” high performance canopy pilots. The regional events will follow the streamlined swoopleague process and follow the current year IPC/USPA rules. The events will have a “Pro” category and an “Amateur” category.
New high performance canopy pilots are the future of competitive canopy piloting and we encourage those who are interested, but have never competed, to contact the organizers and find out how to become involved. As opportunities are presented, and the league grows, we will make high performance canopy piloting coaching available on the days before the meets for small additional costs.

P3 BIG DUBAI 500 BASE PRACTICE
Fine tuning and practicing the base of the 500-Way will be critical to achieving a World Record in the time frame available. One of the goals of the 253-Way event was to provide a live testing environment for the engineering of the 500-Way base. Although our key practice event is cancelled, this task is no less important. So, we call upon our Dubai 253 & 500 participants to assemble in Perris February 23-26 to practice this 500-Way base and play an important role in the engineering of a successful World Record in 2013. In four days and 16 jumps we'll test multiple base designs for efficiency of the build, structural integrity, and other performance criteria.
